The aim of the project “Talent for Kainuu” is to facilitate the recruitment process of KAMK international students in the Kainuu region. Local employers shall be brought together with eligible students and by doing so the project as well aims at reducing the current need for labor in the region. The scope is to integrate international students into the Kainuu working life already during their studies. Therefore, guidance material, recruitment activities and personal career guidance are planned. Regional companies will benefit from this project by the international know-how of the students and possibly new international contacts, products and services will be created.
Career Services at KAMK
Kajaani University of Applied Sciences (KAMK) offers support and guidance for KAMK students to find career opportunities during their studies and also after graduation. KAMK arranges diverse lectures and events for students and alumni regarding job search and career planning. KAMK also offers an online platform called KAMK Kaura where students and alumni can create their own profiles to find suitable job offers, apply for interesting jobs or internships and look for thesis and project opportunities. KAMK Kaura service is free of charge for all KAMK students, alumni and companies.
